Welcome
Welcome to the Roman Catholic parishes of Christ the King and St Saviour & St Mary of the Angels.
From the 6/7th September 2025 we were delighted to also take on the parochial responsibility for the parish of St Saviour & St Mary of the Angels.
The process of redefining the boundaries of St Saviour's and the amalgamation of Christ the King and St Mary of the Angels into one canonical parish has now begun.
As our path becomes clearer we will keep you updated via our newsletter.
For now please note the following:
Parish clergy team as appointed by Bishop Mark will be:
Fr Louis Maggiore - Parish Priest
Fr Humphrey O'Connor - Assistant Priest
Deacon Tony Hunt - Parish Deacon
Parish Mass times:
Saturday Vigil mass at Christ the King at 6pm
Sunday masses at Christ the King at 11am and 6pm
Sunday mass at St Mary of the Angel's at 9am
For as long as we have two Priests and a Deacon it is our intention, wherever possible, to provide a daily mass and other liturgies at each of our two churches.
Please check the newsletter regularly for exact days/times of masses and liturgies.
Baptisms
These will be on Sundays at 11am or 1pm in St Mary of the Angel's and at 1pm in Christ the King.
Should you wish to arrange a baptism at either of our churches, please meet with the clergy after weekend masses.
Parish schools and Youth
Working closely with our Catholic schools and our Youth will be a priority as we seek to encourage young families to live their faith.
There is a regular Youth group (for children year 3 and upwards) that meets 6:30-8pm on Wednesday evenings at Stanley Hall in St Marys of the Angel's.
